Students in the class may from all over the world using Google earth is great tool to get them to see the big picture where others come from. For math class, Google earth can be used to explore distance, velocity and other things.

Google map is similar to earth, but no software needs to be downloaded, and it can be used for daily tasks when looking for a place to go. Finding distance and navigation this is one of the best tools for students to learn. I can use this to demonstrate speed for math classes, since under Google map, there are options for “walk, car or bus” for distance calculations.

Google doc, I have used this tool for my relocation from NZ  to Australia, me and my family have uploaded list of things to sale to buy or to ship, and we were working on it at the same time. This can be used for students to do their group assignment, working on an excel spreadsheet together is something they might find exciting.
